We are SOOOOO glad that Daddy is home!
He came home just before Thanksgiving. It seems that he has been gone FOREVER. OK, really not too long, but before he left town, he was working a modified swing shift, so we really hardly saw him then too.
So since Grandpa Rowley was picking him up from the airport (THANK YOU GRANDPA!). The kids and I were getting ready. We made banners, and cookies.
Handsome wanted to have a surprise party for him. So after the banners were made and hung and cookies baked, we played Candy Land all while keeping a look out for Daddy.

Then I heard the sound of a car door shutting. Handsome went to the window to verify, Daddy was home! The lights were dimmed and door unlocked as we all got into our hiding positions. I have to say, it was TONS of fun, especially with the excitement I felt from the kids.
