Our Christmas

So I guess we were mean to Michael, but being up so late the night before, we slept in til around 8am. Michael was up and playing but didn't touch any of the Chirstmas stuff. Finally I got up and let him get into his stocking, which had a Lighten McQuenn water color book that kept him busy. Then we got Emma up and we all ate a yummy breakfast with cinnamin rolls, bacon, and eggs.

Then on to opening presents. We took turns, and we let the kids play with everything after they opened it. So they would open it and then we would get it out of the box and let them play for 5 to 10 min. or until they were done, and then we would open another gift. It was so fun to enjoy each present one at a time. So our Christmas morning lasted from 9am to 1pm. We had a lunch break inbetween. And funny enough, they got to a point where they had no interest in opening any more presents. So I took the five presents left and tucked them away, they will come out again at birthdays. :)

Here is Michael opening a present filled with "Cars" cars.

Emma with a doll and clothes

A totally cool race track with Lighten McQueen and the King. They are the shake and go cars, so we can use them on the floor too, but it is so much more fun to have a race track for them!

What a cute familiy. Showing off their pjs! We had a great christmas. And sadly enough, we didn't get a picture of the big Christmas present. A toy kitchen. They both love it and play with it the most. Right now they are "cooking food to take to the neighbors". I'll have to show a picture of it later. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas too.
